The Slaw:

1/2 cup or Water

1/4 Sugar

1/4 cup Vinegar

1 Julienned Carrot

1/4 cup julienned Daikon


The meat:

Pork Pate
Whole black pepper
Vietnamese sausage, sliced into thin pieces

The Rest:

4 (10 inch) French baguettes
mayonnaise to taste
soy sauce to taste
4 sprigs of fresh cilantro
English cucumber slices
Red pepper slices




Mix all ingredients under the “slaw” category into a bowl and let it sit in a cool place for about 4 hours. If you want to speed up the process, you can boil the ingredients in a pot for about 5 minutes and let it sit for 30 minutes. It will be ready to eat in a total of 35 minutes.

The meat:
Crush the black pepper into smaller bits and mix with the pate.

Put the Sub together:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and slice the baguettes open lengthwise. Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise onto the inner sides of the buns. Bake the baguettes in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until they are crispy.

Spread the pate on the insides of each baguette. Add 3 pieces of Vietnamese sausage to each baguette, a few sprigs of cilantro and 3 slices of cucumber. You can also add hot chilli peppers to taste. Top the subs off with the slaw. They are now ready to serve!
