Thai Mango Sticky Rice

Mango Sticky Rice Recipe


Servings: 3
Time: 40 minutes
1 cup of glutinous rice
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbs coconut milk
2 tbs milk
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 ripe mango
Cook 1 cup of glutinous rice following the instructions on the package. Add 1/2 tsp of salt.
While the rice is cooking, put a small pot on the stove at medium high heat and add coconut milk, milk, sugar, and 1 tsp of salt. Cook until the contents start boiling. Then remove the pot from the stove.
Skin the mango and cut it into small dice-like pieces. When the rice is ready, pour the coconut milk mixture over a small bed of rice and add some mango bits on top. This makes for a nice sweet dessert.
